Pavan Kaur

I am a Computer Science major, who is constantly fasinated with the ideas of discovery and innovation. I am very interested in the cross-section of technology and business. With each project I take upon I think about user experience, while striving for efficiency and sophistication.

What I really enjoy is sharing my love for STEM with others, as I believe STEM can be the foundation of anything regardless of area or field. I am actively involved in the tech industry. I am a passionate advocator for women representation in Computer Science and related majors within the tech industry. I aim to break the untrue stereotyple that it is not a field for women. One of my notable accomplishments is having organized a city-wide conference open to the public with speakers from companies such as Google, Microsoft, Northrup Grumman, Pilota, JPL, Sabio, Caltech and more!

In my free time I can be found at the beach or studio. I am a first-degree black belt in taekwondo and amateur kickboxer. I can play several instruments including the violin, string bass, bass guitar, and harmonium. I enjoy dancing, reading and listening to new music. I enjoy working with kids and teaching children how to code in my free time.
